How it works
The calculator divides your investment (after any buy fee) by the buy price to find how many units you acquire. It then multiplies that quantity by your sell price and subtracts the sell fee to get your exit value. Profit is the exit value minus your original investment, and ROI expresses that profit as a percentage of what you put in.
The fee percentage is applied on both the entry and the exit, which mirrors how most exchanges charge a maker/taker fee on each side of a trade.

How is ROI calculated?
ROI = (exit value − investment) ÷ investment × 100. A result of 50% means you finished with 1.5× your starting capital after fees.
Are trading fees included?
Yes. The fee you enter is charged once when you buy and once when you sell, so the profit shown is your net result after both fees.
Does this account for taxes?
